Our goal is simple: provide the best in-person small group and private coaching in its most holistic form. This is not exercise.

This is a system. Designed to explore, teach and improve every facet of your life. From the way you train, to how you think about it, to your daily habits and who you surround yourself with.

This is your solution to always saying you’ll change, but can’t. To following every 6 week program but quitting. To paying a gym membership but never connecting to it.

Raon is a complete system; we don’t stop at teaching people to exercise—we teach movement skills, how to train harder and smarter, how to deal with fluctuations in energy and motivation.

What we teach—

  • we rely on tried and true strength and conditioning techniques as well as exploratory concepts to keep engagement at all time highs while improving important bio-markers for health, longevity and / or performance.

  • Along with strength and conditioning, we work to improve connective tissue architecture through specific modalities: end-range isolation work, integrated movement skills resulting in not only improved range of motion, but overall resilience.

  • Most gyms tell you to sleep 8 hours and eat your vegetables, but we don’t stop there. Every client gets personalized, nuanced nutritional guidance including macronutrient variety for gut health, supplementation protocols, along with lifestyle guidance such as circadian rhythm optimization, recovery protocols etc.

  • Training sessions often conclude with a series of breath-work drills or a silent meditation. We realize there can be an imbalance between nervous system states and our goal is to (almost) always have you leave feeling better, or satisfied with the work you put in.

At Raon, we don’t believe in copy-paste programming. Our training system is built to meet you where you’re at on any given day. Some days you need to push hard, some days you need to recalibrate, and some days you just need to feel like yourself again. We design around that.

Our principles are simple:

  • Build what lasts. We’re not chasing sweat or calorie counts—we’re building strength, endurance, and resilience that actually hold up in life.

    Our Backbone. Group training focused on developing multiple attributes for GPP (general physical preparedness). A highly curated, carefully selected mixture of high intensity + functional movements to bolster and improve cardiovascular fitness, movement competency and overall physical prowess.

  • Baseline

    Our flagship strength and hypertrophy programming. Progressive and sustainable, varied strength and conditioning meant to improve squat, bench and deadlift along with building muscle tissue, connective tissue resilience, improving range of motion and develop end-range familiarity and strength. The gateway towards heightened physical presence, awareness and overall athleticism.

  • Baseline +

    Baseline + is our flagship strength and conditioning program “plus” high level, progressive plyometrics. While you improve your strength numbers, you will also develop high levels of athletic ability through a variety of plyometric, jumping, hopping and power-related drills, such as Olympic lifting variations. For those that want to feel and perform like a freak, this is for you.

  • Baseline Ease

    Ease is our on-ramp, or beginner programming, but it is for all levels of fitness and extremely useful for a wide-group of people. Variations of compound movements that are meant to lessen axial skeletal loading and improve movement variability while building foundational strength and muscle tissue. It is a great way to start your strength training journey without the burden of digging yourself into the ground every session. It is also a useful tool for people who just aren’t feeling it on a day and need something “less” while still moving your body.

Raon training principles

  • gyms sell you quick fixes and magic pills in the form of “specialized” 8 week programs and 6 week bootcamps. What they lack is the ability to attain small, incremental improvements in various aspects of fitness across a broader range of time. this is what we specialize in.

  • Training should wake you up, make you feel alive, not put you on autopilot. The same intensity all of the time (i.e. spin classes, pilates, yoga) is missing novelty and variability. Our programming is tailor-made for high levels of engagement, problem solving and flow state. We’re here to build you up over time, not drag you down.

  • Fitness is filled with “optimized” routines and evidence-based science. This often leaves us feeling distraught and paralyzed. At Raon, we program for how you feel and what you need for today—we don’t rely on abstract spreadsheets and whimsical percentages. We teach you, through training, to pay attention and develop a working relationship with your body, and your psychology.

  • Our sessions aren’t just workouts filled with words and numbers. They are gateways towards particular internal states, towards specific psychological states that we want to inhabit, hone and improve over time. Welcome to the next, true “phase” of fitness—states over stats; a way of thriving, not just exercising.

  • We train, and our programming is expert-led. Where we differ even further is our ability to offer health + lifestyle guidance for both high performers and those hoping to get back on track. Personalized nutrition, supplementation protocols and lifestyle “biohacks” are included in each one of our services. This goes well beyond macro counting and telling people to sleep 8 hours. Our goal is to develop every aspect of our lives to get more out of it. This is where the rubber meets the road.
